New products
I cant remember the last time i was on here, unfortunately its been way to long! I miss all of my beautiful people but my darling dog scarlet has given me sooo much work i don't know when my day begins or end. You see she has given birth to 5 beautiful Dachshunds also know as my little hotdogs lol...see now they are 6 weeks old and that means that i have to feed them 3 times a day with puppy chow and then i was to clean up after the chow if you catch my drift lol!! My future husband (oh yeah i forgot to tell you, Im engaged!!! ahhhhh) cant wait to get them out of the house but i on the other hand love them more and more each day. I cant imagine how its going to feel when i have to give them up, im sure i will cry as always.
Anyways sorry for all of the chatter, i have been gone to long and i forgot how to do all of this. So i've been trying so many new products, i must share all of them with you.
One of the new products i tried is called ImPRESS and they are as the name says press on nails!! I am a die hard Acrylic nail fan that religiously has my nails done every two weeks. But these are kind of like an in-between nail fix. During the holidays i can never get to the salon so i'm usually stuck with my own nails...nasty... soo this was a last minute purchase from my local Walgreen, i want to say i payed $6.50 for them and i also purchased a separate nail glue for $1.50 so can you imagine my surprise when i found out how amazing there where. I mean honestly ladies when was the last time you spent $8 on new nails!!
The 2nd thing i found at my local Walgreens was a Sally Hansen Brush-On hair remover. So i've been told that its not "cool" to talk about hair removal, but come on ladies please please please get over it! Its really important to take care of those really sensitive spots on our bodies and knowing the right things to use it sooo necessary! So the reason i choose to check this out was because i have a dear friend who has unfortunately been shaving parts of her face...not good, please don't use this alternative the hair just grows back thicker and dammit you will start to look like a man!!!! This product is so simple to use, it has been previously prepared and it has a brush applicator that is so easy to use. All you have to do is spread this on your sensitive spot and leave it on for 2 minutes and wipe off, after that your ready to go.
Well my beautiful people you should know that i love you guys all and any support from you is always appreciated leave a comment and never forget that fashion happens everyday.

Rip the Runway Miami
omg dolls guess what, Style At My Size has been selected to participate in this years "Rip the Runway Miami". If you don't already know let me inform you, any show no matter how big or small is a good show. This is the first annual Rip the Runway Miami and i am so proud to be a part of it.
Now i'm not going to say that putting on a fashion show is easy because i would be hella lying to yall. But i have done way harder things let me tell you. It is stressing and there are plenty of sleepless nights but it isn't impossible so if this is something that you have in your heart than you should go for it!!
The show is going to be held on August 31st at 6pm at Club Tropical. Im so excited and i hope all of my beautiful plus size people will be there to support!!

I've fallen and i cant get up!!
Hello dolls, so i have to give you guys the update on last nights fashion show. It was located in Miami's new ultra lavish Bamboo club. For those of you who don't live in the city, clubs are like the local venereal disease they come and go. Now for the show itself, i must say out of a possible 10 it was maybe a 6..maybe!! The clothes were definitely not on par and i expected soo much more from MIAMI, I mean the city of sex just lost it hard on!! The clothes were typical and drag queen's have a better strut then the vary skinny models.
Now i thought that the night would be saved when i heard that one of the designers was a beautiful plus size women. But that quickly fell apart. The plus size designer had no intention of supporting her fellow plus size women all models were unfortunately starving to say the least and then as the designer walked out on stage to approach the end of the runway she falls to her demise. karma?? ill let you decide, all i have to say is please please please as a plus size women dont get caught up with what everyone else is doing....support your fellow plus size women and lets help bring fashion to the plus size community!!

Where have all the CURVES GONE?
Omg people, Miami's vary own fashion week is only 4 days away and of course StyleAtMySize will be in the house!! Mercedes-Benz Fashion week, is as you know la creme de la creme . Anyone who's anyone will be attending, a full list of all the designers will be listed bellow.
Im sure with all of the flesh showing its going to have me wondering where have all the curves gone? Our presence at this show will, i hope bring some curves to the much needed streets of Miami. In a town where "slim skin" is the new EVERYTHING its hard to keep up. I hope that we can start incorporating more "average" looking women on our runways.
