Beyond the Fruit basket.

Glamour magazine reports that 97% of women hate their own self-image. It also reports that young women bash themselves more then 13 times a day. Well that’s all about to change. We are no longer going to worry about looking a certain way, we are who we are and we need to focus on making our own bodies look fabulous. At Style-At-My-Size we definitely understand that one size does not fit all so today were going to help you how figure out how to go beyond the fruit basket.

ARMANI (apple):
You're the apple of my eye, your proportions makes it easy for people to want to cuddle up right next to you. Its absolutely harder to shop but not impossible! Keep your mind open.

    Key shapes to wear:

   ·       TOPS should definitely show some skin towards the upper part of your body (neck line) make sure all of your garments are longer in size to give the illusion of elongating your body and creating length.
   ·       SKIRTS should be as flat on top as possible to avoid extra bulk around your mid-section.
   ·       JEANS should fit about the navel and have some type of wide leg to help create balance to your body.

RALPH LAUREN (pear):

You’re bottom heavy and slim on top. Your most prized possession is your hips.  Shakira wrote a whole song on your hips and curves and trust her when she says-- they don’t lie.
                                                Key shapes to wear:

  •                        TOPS must be big and bold; colors will definitely draw everyone’s eyes to your neckline and help balance your bottom half.
  • SKIRTS should always be A-line or flared that way they will skim your hips and thighs.
  • JEANS must be flat front jeans; they’re the only kinds that will help flatten your belly. Stay far away from skinny jeans that will bring out your hips, instead choose a wide leg semi flared bottom.

YVES SAINT LAURENT (strawberry):

You have the shape that artist have been painting for centuries. Your famous line is “My eyes are up here not down there.” Bigger on top, you carry broad shoulders and bigger breast with a thinner waste line.

                                                     Key shapes to wear:

·       TOPS if you have bigger breasts then you will be happy to hear that showing a little skin is right on target (v necks).
·       SKIRTS should be loose fitting flare skirts or dresses that will give you the illusion of a great shape.
·       JEANS boot cut trousers with a wide leg and a flared bottom is the only way to go.

 COCO CHANEL (rectangle):

Your body shape is straight up and down you never need to hide any part of your body. If you ever desire some curves it is easily achieved with the right clothes.

     Key shapes to wear

·       TOPS should always be true to the latest fashions when it comes to sequins, frills and even bows to draw your attention to your beautiful face.
·       SKIRTS should also be an A-line cut because it will help to enhance your girly figure.
·       JEANS should always be skinny jeans or slim leg jeans to keep the excess bulk off.

CHRISTIAN DIOR (hourglass):

Your body is the very essence of what makes a woman a woman. You usually have a cinched waste with a bigger top and bottom. Your body shape is definitely not the norm in todays society, but it should be!

Key shapes to wear:

·       TOPS must have a low neck line or even a “V” neck line in order to flatter your figure.
·       SKIRTS should be close to your body to accentuate every part of you.  “A- line” skirts are your best friends and will definitely bring out the inner goddess in you.
·       JEANS should always be wide leg trousers or a boot cut flared jean so that it balances your hips.
